The method comprises the following steps that: selecting source virtual machines to creating a virtual machine group, wherein the virtual machine group comprises a plurality of target virtual machines to be created; judging whether the source virtual machines meet an initial condition for the batch creation or not; if the initial condition is met, determining a custom configuration parameter to configure the virtual machine group, wherein the custom configuration parameter comprises a first part of configuration parameter and a second part of configuration parameter; according to the second part of configuration parameter, generating a seed file; and according to the firstpart of configuration parameter and the seed file, creating the target virtual machine in parallel on hosts corresponding to each target virtual machine of the virtual machine group one by one.
