Abstract | The invention discloses a Rubik's cube operator-based complex fault identification and detection method and belongs to the seismic data interpretation field. The method includes the following steps that: a Rubik's cube matrix is provided; the central values of all elements of the matrix are subtracted from the all elements of the matrix, so that a new matrix can be obtained; elements, other than elements of which the absolute values are maximum and minimum, in the new matrix, are assigned to be 0, so that a detection operator is obtained; the new matrix is rotated clockwise every 45 degrees, so that detection operators in the other 7 directions are obtained; a data sub-body is selected with a certain point in seismic data adopted as a center, and the data sub-body and the detection operators in the 8 directions are subjected to convolution operation; a value in obtained results of each direction, which has the largest absolute value, is adopted as the direction result of the corresponding direction; and a max |
