Abstract The invention discloses an analysis method and an analysis platform for a potential resource bearing capability of an optical transport network (OTN). The method comprises the steps of modeling service capability characteristics of a board card and a port of OTN equipment to form an OTN equipment capability set; and assessing the potential resource bearing capability of the OTN equipment based onthe OTN equipment capability set. By modeling the OTN equipment capability, a basic parameter information support is provided for fulfillment of a specific service, and the problem of assessing the OTN network resource bearing capability under the complex network is solved. 本发明公开了种OTN网络承载资源潜在能力的分析方法和平台。该方法包括:对OTN设备的板卡和端口的业务能力特性进行建模以形成OTN设备能力集;以及基于所述OTN设备能力集对OTN设备承载资源的潜在能力进行评估。通过对OTN设备能力建模,为具体业务开通提供基础参数信息支撑,解决了复杂组网下的OTN网络资源承载能力评估问题。
