Abstract | The invention discloses a sensor network-based crop growth environment monitoring system and a method. The system and the method are used for remotely monitoring the crop growth environment. A movablenode converging means is adopted by the system. In a remote processing device, the collected data of each data acquisition device are analyzed. When the crop growth environment is abnormal, the nodeconverging means is controlled to be moved to a corresponding area for the abnormal position of the crop growth environment. By means of a camera and a sensor arranged on the node converging means, the image information of a current area and other crop growth environment data are acquired. More accurate and more comprehensive data are acquired. As a result, the more comprehensive and more detaileddata analysis is conveniently conducted on the crop growth environment.
