Abstract The invention discloses a terminal injection moulding CCD detecting system and method. The system comprises a drawstring device and a CCD detector, wherein the drawstring device comprises a counterweight component and a drawstring component; the counterweight component and the drawstring component are fixedly connected with a feed end and a discharge end of an injection mould respectively; the drawstring device is used for conveying a material strip bearing a terminal for injection moulding to a station of the injection mould; the CCD detector comprises a detecting lens which is mounted on a back-operation side of the injection mould and directly faces a mould cavity of the injection mould. The system has a simple and reasonable structure; by introducing the CCD detector into a terminal injection moulding system in the prior art, the system can automatically monitor whether the abnormality of the terminal for injection moulding exists, and can automatically choose to skip the abnormalterminal according to the
