The present disclosure provides a pre-installed application protection method and apparatus. The method comprises: during a booting process, verifying whether a preset signature of a preinstalled application list is correct; if a preset signature of the preinstalled application list is correct, sequentially checking whether the preset signature corresponding to each preinstalled application is correct; and starting the operating system after it is determined that the preset signature corresponding to each preinstalled application is correct. 本公开提供种预装应用程序的保护方法及装置，该方法包括：开机过程中，校验预装应用程序列表的预设签名是否正确；在所述预装应用程序列表的预设签名正确时，依次校验每个预装应用程序对应的预设签名是否正确；在确定每个所述预装应用程序对应的预设签名正确之后，启动操作系统。
