Abstract | The invention discloses an on-line automatic monitoring system and method of water quality for large water-depth cross section. The system comprises a water platform, wherein a center control room and a U-shaped rail are arranged on the water platform; a power distribution box is mounted inside the central control room; a rope collector and electromechanical equipment are mounted on the U-shaped rail; a monitoring camera is mounted on the top of a roof of the central control room by a support frame; a 220V to 5V switch power source, a central control host, a GPS module, a 4G wireless router, a DAM0404A controller, a motor speed regulator, a 220V to 12V switch power source and a power-on automatic restart module are mounted inside the power distribution box; the rope collector is connected with a multi-parameter water-quality analyzer by a steel wire rope and a multi-core shielding wire; the rope collector is driven by a motor, and the motor is connected with the motor speed regulator by a cable wire.
