Abstract | The invention provides a preparation method for anti-mildew carboxymethyl starch. The method comprises the following steps: taking starch as a raw material, sodium hydroxide as an alkalinizing agent and monochloro acetic acid as an etherifying agent, and then adopting a mechanical activating one-step dry method for preparing the carboxymethyl starch with a high anti-mildew property. The invention aims to provide the preparation method for the carboxymethyl starch with the high anti-mildew property. According to the method, no water resource is consumed, no wastewater treatment is performed, and less consumed ethyl alcohol is lastly distilled and fully recycled; the raw material source is wide, the production process is simple, the preparation cost is low, and the product quality is high; and the method is environment-friendly and can be widely applied to the fields, such as, building materials, papermaking, spinning, printing and dyeing, medicines, adhesives, cosmetics and foods.
