Abstract | The invention provides a sub-pixel level angular displacement subdivision method and device based on an image detector. The method includes the following steps: obtaining a reference scale line on a grating coded disc, the reference scale lines being a set of scale lines uniformly scribed in positions of the same diameter of the grating coded disc at equal intervals and of equal width; performing fitting on two adjacent reference scale lines in the reference scale line image which are a first reference scale line and a second reference scale line respectively, thereby obtaining a first calculation result; and utilizing the first calculation result to calculate a location parameter of a central point between the first reference scale line and the second reference scale line on the grating coded disc; and utilizing an angular displacement preset relation and the central point location parameter to obtain an angle subdivision result of a current rotation position of the grating coded disc.
