Summary: | The invention provides a grafting propagation method capable of increasing sweetness of watermelons. The method comprises the steps of selecting cucurbita moschata as root stocks, wherein the root stocks are sown and cultivated by using bed surfaces; employing a partial-film covering method, and maintaining a temperature of 34-36 DEG C in daytime and a temperature of 20-25 DEG C at night for breeding robust seedlings; removing covering film after seedlings emerge, and maintaining a temperature of 22-26 DEG C in daytime and a temperature of 10-12 DEG C at night; performing grafting when watermelon seedlings nursed in containers grow to fully spread two leaves and two leaves of each root stock just spread; removing terminal buts of the root stocks and inserting watermelon cotyledons into the root stocks for grafting in a top cutting manner; performing further management after grafting.
