Abstract The present invention relates to a method of suppressing harmonic and interharmonic noises in electric arc furnace current signal detection. The method includes the following steps that: (1) the time-frequency distribution of electric arc furnace current signals is obtained through using frequency slice wavelet transform; (2) on the basis of the differences of the time-frequency distribution of noise signals and the time-frequency distribution of harmonic and interharmonic signals, time-frequency regions are selected so as to be subjected to refining analysis, so that a time-frequency refined distributed map can be obtained; and (3) the harmonic and interharmonic signals are extracted through regional reconstruction, so that a noise interference-suppressed electric arc furnace current signal map can be obtained.
