Abstract | The invention discloses an induction medium for callus tissues of radix zanthoxyli, an induction method and application thereof. According to the induction method, the stem sections of rootless seedlings of radix zanthoxyli are used as explants, and formation of callus tissues is induced on an MS culture medium containing a suitable proportion of hormones; the obtained callus tissues can provide materials for research on cell fusion or gene conversion of radix zanthoxyli, thereby establishing a technique platform and laying a foundation for improvement of germ plasm resources; and when the callus tissues are used for subsequent tissue culture and establishment of a tissue culture system, the propagation coefficient is improved (the propagation coefficient of a proliferation method through induction of cluster buds is 2.4-3.6, while the propagation coefficient of the method disclosed by the invention can reach over 5.0), thereby laying a foundation for massively planting radix zanthoxyli.
