Abstract | The invention discloses a method for detecting EC content in tea polyphenols, and the method includes (1) setting HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) conditions; (2) preparing a reference substance solution; (3) preparing a test substance solution; and (4) detecting the content, to be more specific, respectively taking the reference substance solution and the test substance solution for injection into a liquid chromatograph, and performing HPLC operation, recording a chromatogram, and using the chromatogram to calculate the EC content. According to the method, a gradient elution method is used, two main components of EGCG and EC difficult to separate in the tea polyphenols can be effectively separated, the method is simple, high in sensitivity, good in reproducibility and good in sample separation degree, symmetry and peak shape, the retention time is moderate, and the method is more suitable for routine detection, and can be effectively used for the detection of the EC content and quality control. |
