Abstract The invention discloses a cable material in the field of wire and cable materials, and especially relates to a flame-retardant cable material. The material comprises the following components in parts by weight: (1) 20 parts of ethylene and a copolymer thereof; (2) 60 parts of a thermoplastic elastomer; (3) 7 parts of polyethylene/propylene; (4) 5 parts of a compatilizer; (5) 3 parts of modified polyphenylene oxide resin powder; (6) 100 parts of a fire retardant; (7) 2 parts of an auxiliary agent; (8) 100 parts of terpolymer EP rubber; (9) 150 parts of SEBS503 and/or maleic anhydride grafted SEBS; (10) 150 parts of a plasticizing softener; (11) 2 parts of a pigment; (12) 2 parts of a cross-linking agent; (13) 70 parts of liquid rubber with enhanced softening; (14) 90 parts of a reinforcing agent.
