The invention relates to a liquid organic tin-antimony compound, and a preparation method thereof. The compound comprises tin and antimony with a total content larger than 18%. The preparation method for the compound comprises the following steps: (1) mixing mercaptoacetic acid, a catalyst and dihydric alcohol, carrying out stirring, carrying out heating to 70 to 120 DEG C, carrying out a reaction under the condition that the vacuum degree is 0.06 to 0.09 MPa until water does not drip out from a water separator any more, then carrying out cooling to room temperature, carrying out washing, taking out an oil phase, and carrying out reduced pressure distillation and dewatering so as to obtain a thiol compound; and (2) subjecting the thiol compound prepared in the step (1), isooctyl mercaptoacetate, methyl tin chloride and water to mixing under stirring, then carrying out heating to 40 to 80 DEG C, pouring antimonous oxide, adding inorganic alkali until a pH value is adjusted to be 6 to 8, then carrying out a rea
