The invention relates to an indoor unit of an air conditioner. The indoor unit comprises a shell, a heat exchanger and a heating device. The heat exchanger is arranged in the shell, the shell comprises a front face plate and a back plate, the back plate is opposite to the front face plate, and the heating device is arranged inside the shell and is positioned at the bottom of the shell; the heating device comprises a fan and an electric heating plate, and the electric heating plate is mounted on the outer side of the fan; the fan comprises an induced draft opening and an exhaust outlet, and the electric heating plate covers the induced draft opening.
