Summary:The invention provides a method for a coal-fired power plant to calculate coal consumption and other economic indicators in real time. The method comprises: using acquired data to form a standard database; calculating steam turbine heat rate, pipeline efficiency, and boiler efficiency of the coal-fired power plant at the same time, just deaerator inlet feedwater flow of flow rate parameters being used, using a heat balance calculation method to avoid flow measurement values of a plurality of steam-water parameters, especially in a calculation process of the boiler efficiency, establishing a core equation set, just fly ash and big slag carbon contents being manual input data, the rest being acquired operation data and intermediate parameters obtained by heat balance calculation, so as to obtain a real-time calculated value of the boiler efficiency, and combined with the steam turbine heat rate and the pipeline efficiency, finally obtaining the real-time coal consumption and other indicators of the coal-fired p
