Provided is a damage assessment checking method including receiving the damage assessment application of a vehicle; according to the preset analysis rule, analyzing the vehicle property data of the damaged vehicle to be accessed based on the frame number of the damaged vehicle to be accessed in the damage assessment application; obtaining the vehicle configuration information corresponding to the analyzed vehicle property data based on the association relationship data of the vehicle property data and the vehicle configuration information preset in a database; determining the insurance property data corresponding to the vehicle configuration information based on the preset association relationship data of the vehicle configuration information and the insurance property information; and according to the preset early-warning rule, analyzing the damage assessment information that is not accordant to the determined insurance property data in the damage assessment information in the damage assessment application.
