Abstract | The invention discloses a cam tappet wearing test device. The device comprises an engine body, a cam, a tappet, a push rod, a cam driving device and a loading device applying an axial load to the push rod. The cam driving device is connected to the cam. The engine body is provided with a sliding assembling hole. The tappet is connected to the sliding assembling hole. The cam is contacted with one end surface of the tappet. The other end of the tappet is connected to the push rod. In the invention, a major friction pair, which is a cam-tappet friction pair, is taken as a research object in a valve timing mechanism, and a contact condition between the cam and the tappet under different loads can be tested.
