Abstract | The invention provides a method for preparing a catalyst for catalytic oxidation of ozone from a waste catalyst produced during oil refining and the catalyst prepared with the method and used for catalytic oxidation of ozone. The method comprises steps as follows: (1) calcination; (2) acid dissolution; (3) alkali dissolution; (4) water washing; (5) activation; (6) drying and grinding; (7) granulation. The catalyst is prepared from components in percentage by mass as follows: 2%-14% of an active component, 30%-80% of a regenerated and activated waste catalyst, 2%-20% of a pore-enlarging agent, 1%-10% of a gelatinizing agent and 5%-30% of aluminum oxide powder, wherein the total mass percentage of the components is 100%, and the active component is one or more of MnO2, Co3O4, Fe3O4, Fe2O3, CoO, Sb2O3 and SnO2.
