The invention relates to an apparatus for removal of pin bones (B) from fish meat, preferably from a fillet (F) of white fish, comprising a frame (1) for supporting a drive device (2) and a rotatably driven member (3) driven by drive device, the rotatably driven member (3) being provided with engagement means (4), and a counter pressure element (5) for providing a clamping function between the counter pressure element and the rotatably driven element.
