The present invention relates to a heterogeneous simulation method, which is used for simulation training of large-scale air force campaigns. The method comprises: developing a battlefield environment model, a combat entity model and a combat behavior rule model, which are used in a simulation training process; by using an information support service subsystem, a manner of a data distribution service and a time management mechanism, implementing interaction of internal information of a simulation system; and monitoring a simulation stage state and a simulation running condition, and managing data in the simulation training process.
