The invention discloses a vehicle-mounted ash removing system for a diesel particulate filter. The vehicle-mounted ash removing system comprises an engine, a particulate filter, an air compressor, a filtering device, a pressure sensor, an engine ECU (Electronic Control Unit), an exhaust connecting pipeline and a control valve, wherein the air compressor and the filtering device are connected to the downstream part and the upstreampart of the particulate filter in an engine exhaust system by the exhaust connecting pipeline and the control valve; the air compressor and the control valve are controlled by the engine ECU through wiring harnesses; the air compressor provides back-blowing high-pressure air current for removing non-combustible ash in the particulate filter, and the removed ash is collected by the filtering device. The vehicle-mounted ash removing system disclosed by the invention can be directly arranged on a vehicle through the exhaust connecting pipeline and the control valve and has the effects o
