The present invention provides a self-degradable hydraulic fracturing temporary plugging diversion agent comprising the following components by mass: 1-10% of a plasticizer; 0.05-2% of a modifier; 0.05-2% of an accelerator; 1-30% of a density adjusting agent and balance of a self-degradation adhesive, and the self-degradation adhesive is polypropylene carbonate resin. The present invention also provides a preparation method of the self-degradable hydraulic fracturing temporary plugging diversion agent. The self-degradable hydraulic fracturing temporary plugging diversion agent solves the defects in the prior art. The self-degradable hydraulic fracturing temporary plugging diversion agent is low in decomposition temperature and short in decomposition time, and decomposition products may not cause secondary pollution.
