Abstract Disclosed is a SAR scene navigability evaluation method based on scene distribution. Scene types can be better represented and distinguished by selecting at least two image characteristic indexes and using an image characteristic index with a larger distributional difference in different image samples as a navigability characteristic index. The SAR scene navigability of a complex surface feature scene can be evaluated by partitioning a scene to be evaluated and acquiring the navigability characteristic value distribution of the navigability characteristic index in all partitioned images of the scene to be evaluated. The method is suitable for SAR scene navigability evaluation of the complex surface feature scene and good in evaluation effect.
