Abstract The invention discloses a cover plate and an electronic device. The cover plate comprises a plate body and a conducting layer, wherein the plate body comprises two opposite surfaces and a side surface which is connected between the two surfaces; and the conducting layer is arranged on the side surface of the plate body and electrically connected with the grounding end of the electronic device. The electronic device comprises the cover plate and an engine body, wherein the engine body is arranged in the electronic device and electrically connected with the conducting layer.
