Summary: | The invention discloses alkali-free short-cut precursor fibers for thermoplastic plastics. The alkali-free short-cut precursor fibers are prepared by the steps of performing surface treatment on glass fiber bundles, formed by glass monofilaments subjected to sleeve spinning, by using an impregnating compound, and then cutting off the glass fiber bundles, wherein the impregnating compound contains a caking agent, a lubricant, an antistatic agent and a coupling agent in a mass percentage ratio of (90-110):(5-15):(10-30):(5-40), and preferably in a mass percentage ratio of 100:10:20:5. Therefore, the alkali-free short-cut precursor fibers for the thermoplastic plastics, disclosed by the invention, take water-base epoxy resin as the caking agent, thereby having good protection and bundling properties, and being capable of improving the strength of a product. |
