The feed additive is characterized by being prepared from the following substances in parts by weight: 15-25 parts of 30% enveloped mercaptamine, 8-12 parts of dihydropyridine, 130-150 parts of cardamine violifolia, 110-130 parts of honeysuckle, 90-110 parts of roots of Chinese pulsatilla, 70-90 parts of medicated leaven, 70-90 parts of malt, 70-90 parts of semen raphanin, 70-90 parts of fructus aurantii, 70-90 parts of fructus quisqualis, 30-50 parts of acetohydroxamic acid, 50-60 parts of commercially available selenium yeast which contains 2000mg/kg of selenium, 50-60 parts of commercially available bacillus subtillis and 50-70 parts of medical stones. The feed additive for producing selenium-rich beef has the advantages of preventing various diseases of cattle, providing safe, nutritious and healthy food for the citizens, being the best food and way for selenium supplementation of the citizens, and having important practical significance.
