Summary: | The present invention relates to a metal hydride powder ignition temperature detection method and a metal hydride powder ignition temperature detection apparatus, and belongs to the technical field of metal hydride powder safety detection. The metal hydride powder ignition temperature detection method comprises: 1) placing metal hydride powder having a saturated hydrogen-absorbing state in a sample crucible; 2) controlling the programmed temperature increase of a heating furnace through a temperature controller, and recording the temperature change during the metal hydride powder heating process through a recorder; and 3) according to the temperature change of the metal hydride powder, determining the ignition temperature of the metal hydride powder. The metal hydride powder ignition temperature detection apparatus comprises a sample crucible, a blank crucible, a heating furnace, a temperature measurement thermocouple, a temperature controller, a differential thermal thermocouple and a recorder, wherein the temperature controller controls the heating rate of the heating furnace through the temperature measurement thermocouple, and the recorder records the temperature change of the sample. According to the present invention, the advantages of high measurement precision, simple method, convenient testing and the like are provided, and the method and the apparatus can be widely used for the ignition temperature detection of the metal hydride powder. |
