Summary:The invention relates to the technical field of machining, and particularly relates to a closed type cavity part and a machining method thereof. The cavity part comprises a sheet metal part, a bayonet plate and an outer snap-in plate, wherein the sheet metal part comprises a baseplate and side plates which are formed by upwards bending the left side and the right side of the baseplate, and the end parts of the two side plates are bent in opposite directions and then are downwards bent to form two turnaround bending plates; the bayonet plate is fixedly arranged on the left turnaround bending plate and the right turnaround bending plate by a mortise joint structure; the outer snap-in plate is of a trough type structure with a downward opening; a clamping slot for clamping the bayonet plate is formed in the trough wall of the outer snap-in plate; and the outer snap-in plate is clamped and arranged between the two turnaround bending plates and is arranged on the bayonet plate by the clamping slot. When the cavity part is produced, only a common bending mold is used, one-time bending in the right place is not needed, and the extreme bending dimension of the common mold can be avoided. After the two turnaround bending plates and the bayonet plate are fixedly assembled through the mortise joint structure, the sheet metal part can be subjected to shape correction, the actual bending state can be corrected to the ideal bending state, and the closed type cavity part is formed in the end.
