Summary: | The invention provides a flame-retardant urethane resin composition which enables the formation of a foam that is easy to handle, has excellent flame retardancy and can keep a given shape thereof under heated conditions. A flame-retardant urethane resin composition characterized by comprising a polyisocyanate compound, a polyol compound, a trimerization catalyst, a foaming agent, a foam-controlling agent and an additive, wherein the trimerization catalyst comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a nitrogenated aromatic compound, an alkali metal salt of a carboxylic acid, a tertiary ammonium salt and a quaternary ammonium salt, the additive contains red phosphorus as the essential component and also contains, in addition to the red phosphorus, at least one component selected from the group consisting of a phosphate ester, a phosphate-salt-containing flame retardant agent, a bromine-containing flame retardant agent, a boron-containing flame retardant agent, an antimony-containing flame retardant agent and a metal hydroxide in combination with the red phosphorus. |
