The invention provides a center rotary joint for a multi-mode shield tunneling machine. The center rotary joint comprises a rotor and a stator, wherein the side wall of the stator is provided with a modifier filling opening, the modifier filling opening is communicated with a modifier passage in the rotor, the other end of the modifier passage is communicated with a vertical passage in a flange disc, and the vertical passage is communicated with a modifier pipeline; the side wall of the stator is also provided with a liquid passage inlet, the liquid passage inlet is communicated with a liquid passage in the rotor, the liquid passage is communicated with the flange disc, a slurry flushing passage is arranged at the center of the rotor, one end of the slurry flushing passage is communicated with a slurry flushing inlet of a connecting seat, and the other end of the slurry flushing passage is communicated with a slurry flushing pipe. The center rotary joint has the advantage that when the center rotary joint is used for soil pressure shielding or slurry shielding, the replacement of the center rotary joint is not needed, only the corresponding passage pipeline is connected and started, and the use requirement can be met, so the manufacturing cost is reduced, and the manufacturing cycle is shortened.
