Abstract The invention provides a method, a terminal and a system for life detection, a control center and a wireless transceiver station in one embodiment. The method comprises the steps of receiving life detection messages, reported by each terminal for life detection, in at least one terminal for life detection, and determining a life distribution diagram of a field after a catastrophe according to the location of each terminal for life detection and the information of living bodies detected, wherein the life detection messages reported by each terminal for life detection include the location of each terminal for life detection and the information of living bodies detected in the field after a catastrophe. The rescue time can be reduced and secondary harm on the rescued personnel can be avoided.
