Abstract The invention belongs to the technical field of medicine, and particularly relates to a gas chromatography detection method of polysorbate 80 in Xuebijing injection of traditional Chinese medicine. The detection method comprises the following steps of (1) preparing a reference liquid: the polysorbate 80 is used as a reference substance so as to be prepared into the reference liquid; (2) preparing a test liquid: the Xuebijing injection is taken to be prepared into the test lidquid; (3) respectively injecting the reference liquid and the test liquid into a gas chromatograph so as to obtain chromatograms; and (4) calculating according to the reference chromatogram and the test chromatogram so as to obtain the content of the polysorbate 80 in the test liquid.
