Abstract The invention relates to a linearity detecting mechanism for a drill rod. The linearity detecting mechanism comprises a frame plate, and a plurality of contact induction devices, supporting devices and discharging devices are symmetrically arranged on the upper surface of the frame plate, Material guiding plates, material moving devices and a storage rack are fixedly connected to the front side of the frame plate. The contact induction devices are evenly distributed on the frame plate at intervals, the supporting devices and the discharging devices are symmetrically located at the two ends of the upper surface of the frame plate in the length direction respectively, and the discharging devices are located between the two supporting devices. The linearity detecting mechanism for the drill rod is relatively simple in structure, performs linearity detection on the drill rod in a multi-point detection mode, and has the advantages of being high in accuracy degree and reliable in detection. The drill rod is not needed to be operated manually, so that the labor intensity is low.
