A ship engine is provided with: a first supercharger (22); a first intercooler (23); a second supercharger (24); and a second intercooler (26). The first supercharger (22) is disposed at one end of the ship engine in the crank shaft direction. The first intercooler (23) and the second supercharger (24) are disposed at an end of the ship engine in the apparatus width direction. Furthermore, the first intercooler (23) and the second supercharger (24) are disposed side by side in the crank shaft direction. The second intercooler (26) is disposed at the other end (i.e. the opposite side to the first supercharger (22)) of the ship engine in the crank shaft direction.
