Abstract The invention provides a self load bearing side span closure construction method for a corrugated steel web plate continuous rigid frame bridge. The method aims at safely, economically and fast realizing the side span closure when a support frame cannot be adopted for construction on a high-side-pier corrugated steel web plate continuous rigid frame bridge.
