Abstract | The invention provides a self load bearing side span closure construction method for a corrugated steel web plate continuous rigid frame bridge. The method aims at safely, economically and fast realizing the side span closure when a support frame cannot be adopted for construction on a high-side-pier corrugated steel web plate continuous rigid frame bridge. The method comprises the following steps that (1) hanging basket construction is adopted on the top of a middle pier for completing a cantilever perfusion beam section for forming a T-shaped structure, and in addition, support frame cast-in-place concrete construction is adopted on the pier top of a side pier for completing end cross beams; (2) wing edge steel plates of corrugated steel web plates of a side span cast-in-plate beam section and a side span cast-in-place closure section are subjected to local transformation for forming a steel web plate self load bearing framework; (3) the steel web plate self load bearing framework is hung; (4) a mold is ere |
