Abstract The present invention provides a power storage apparatus with which costs in operation and maintenance are not increased, in which temperature inside thereof is maintained at an appropriate temperature, and which is not easily affected by outside air such as sea air. A battery chamber is formed inside a sealed container. Module batteries and charging/discharging paths outside the batteries are housed within the battery chamber. In the module battery, a cell chamber and an air chamber are formed inside a heat-insulating container. The cell chamber and the air chamber are separated by a heat transfer wall. Cells of a sodium-sulfur battery and charging/discharging paths inside the battery are housed within the cell chamber.
