Abstract An automatic spray cooling device for a centrifugal casting mold cylinder comprises a mold cylinder (10) and end caps (20) arranged at two ends of the mold cylinder (10). A water header (30) is arranged on the mold cylinder (10), infrared temperature measurers (50) for measuring temperature of the mold cylinder (10) are arranged on a steam deflector (80), spray heads (60) are arranged on the lower side of the water header (30), and a program analysis controller (70) used for controlling water flow electromagnetic valves (40) is arranged on the steam deflector (80). With the automatic spray cooling device, real-time control of temperature of different stages of the mold cylinder is achieved; according to the temperature feedback, spraying volume of different stages is changed automatically, casting mold temperature field is adjusted, structure segregation during solidification of metal liquid is controlled effectively, and local overheating of the mold cylinder can be avoided.
