A miter saw (10) includes a base (14), a turntable rotatable (16) in relation to the base (14) and including a work piece support surface (20), a support assembly attached to the turntable (16), and a saw assembly (18) attached to the support assembly and configured to cut a work piece supported on the turntable (16).
