Abstract The invention relates to a multifunctional device and to the use thereof for the chromatographic separation, in particular for the affinity chromatographic separation, of a substance mixture, whereby a uniform fluid distribution on the separating medium and a uniform flow through the stationary phase are made possible by guiding the fluid to be separated via a radial feed line in the upper portion of the device to the centre thereof, wherein the radial feed line widens in a dome shape in the centre.
