Abstract The invention provides an off-line downloading method and an off-line downloading server. The method comprises the following steps that a user submits a downloading task to the off-line downloading server; the off-line downloading server judges whether the downloading task is a downloaded task; if not, a downloading mode is judged according to the downloading task; a resource corresponding to the downloading task is downloaded to the off-line downloading server according to the downloading mode; and the resource is copied to a user space. According to the off-line downloading method, the trouble that on-hook is required when a user downloads the resource is removed, the user experience is improved, and the resource downloading speed of the user is increased.
