Abstract | The invention discloses an organic solar cell, a preparation method of the organic solar cell and a method of improving light absorption efficiency of the organic solar cell. The organic solar cell comprises a glass substrate, a positive electrode layer, a hole transfer layer, an organic active layer and a negative electrode layer, wherein a liquid crystal reflecting layer is added outside the negative electrode layer, the liquid crystal reflecting layer comprises a half wave plate carrier and a liquid crystal membrane which is coated on the half wave plate carrier, and the liquid crystal material of the liquid crystal membrane is composed of 90wt%-99wt% of LC242 and 1wt%-10wt% of LC756.
