A combined photoelectric connector that provides both optical connection and electrical connection and wherein worsening of optical coupling efficiency is prevented by preventing metal abrasion powder generated by the rubbing together of terminals that provide electrical connection from attaching to an optical connection unit, and a receptacle for same are provided. The receptacle (70) for the combined photoelectric connector includes: the optical connection unit (73) arranged in the space connected to a housing space; and an electrical connection unit (72) arranged in front of the optical connection unit (73). A shutter (76) that opens when connected to the receptacle (70) and a plug (40) is disposed in the front surface of the optical connection unit (73). The optical connection unit (73) advances in conjunction with the opening movement of the shutter (76) and retreats in conjunction with the closing movement of the shutter (76).
