Abstract The present invention discloses a water turbine (100) for generating hydroelectric power and a hydroelectric power generating structure using the same. The water turbine (100) for generating hydroelectric power comprises: a rotary shaft (110) formed vertically; and a plurality of rotary blades (120) placed in a radial structure with the rotary shaft (110) at the center. Therefore, it enables an efficient conversion of the water power of a river into electric energy without using a dam.
