The invention provides a remote control device, a display system and a display method. The display method comprises the following steps that: the remote control device generates an index moving amount and an index moving direction in response to user operation, wherein the index moving direction can be selected from one of a positive moving direction and a negative moving direction, and the positive moving direction and the negative moving direction are opposite directions in the same dimension; the remote control device senses a placing attitude, and thus obtains a long axis horizontal included angle between a shell long axis and a horizontal surface; the remote control device transmits the index moving amount, the index moving direction and the long axis horizontal included angle to the display device; and the display device adjusts a display picture according to the index moving amount, the index moving direction and the long axis horizontal included angle.
