Abstract The invention provides an on-load multistage adjustable-capacity tap switch, and aims to solve the problem that the prior on-load switch cannot adjust more than three capacities. The key points of the on-load multistage adjustable-capacity tap switch lies in that when the turn number of a high voltage coil and the turn number of a low voltage coil of a transformer winding are changed at the same time, the capacity of a transformer is changed. Therefore, three groups of low voltage moving contacts and one group of low voltage neutral point leading-out moving contacts in a low voltage moving contact system are connected by a low voltage electrical conductive rod; the low voltage neutral point leading-out moving contacts are mounted on an insulating rotary shaft; each phase of low voltage static contact system comprises N low voltage static contacts; and each phase of high voltage static contact system comprises N high voltage static contacts.
