Disclosed are a method and a system for recovering tailing resources. The system comprises a cyclone, a spreading chute, a conical surface, a flotation tank and a device. The cyclone is used for classifying tailings, the spreading chute is used for recovering the tailings and positioned on the downstream of the cyclone, a buffer tank is arranged between the spreading chute and the cyclone, the conical surface is used for enriching the tailings and positioned on the downstream of the spreading chute, a settling tank is arranged between the conical surface and the spreading chute, the top of the conical surface for enriching the tailings is provided with an automatic rotary tailing separator which is positioned between the settling tank and the conical surface for enriching the tailings, the flotation tank is used for concentrate flotation, the middle end of the flotation tank has a first gradient, the rear end of the flotation tank has a second gradient lower than the first gradient, and the device is used for
