Abstract Provided is a releasing type electromagnet device, in which a plunger weight is reduced by shortening a plunger length and by adding a stationary iron core but without reducing a plunger diameter. Moreover, a plunger inclination in a bobbin is reduced to eliminate the contact with an end yoke through hole. The plunger weight can be reduced without reducing the plunger diameter. As a result, it is possible to prevent the drop of an attraction force, which might otherwise be caused due to the reduction of an interlinking magnetic flux (or the radial reduction), and the reduction of a releasing operation efficiency, which might otherwise be caused by the increase of a magnetic resistance. By reducing the plunger inclination, the dispersions of the attraction force and a sliding frictional force are suppressed to improve releasing characteristics.
