Abstract The present invention discloses a seedling method for tissue culture and rapid breeding of camellia semiserrata chi. The method comprises: explant collecting, aseptic differentiation, strong seedling culturing and bagged seedling transplanting, wherein the explant is provided for breeding. According to the method, bud tip or leaf is adopted as the explant for the breeding, and is subjected to treatments of disinfection and impurity removing; a differentiation culture media is adopted to culture the treated bud tip or the treated leaf to form a small plant; the induced small plant is cut, and inoculated in a new differentiation culture media to carry out multiple subcultures; the resulting small plant is inoculated on the specially-made strong seedling culture media to carry out culture; finally the bagged seedling transplanting is performed.
